Bio

I started Muay Thai around 2010 while I was studying for my undergraduate degree. With the boom of mixed martial arts at the time, I became fascinated with combat sports and made the decision to sign up for Muay Thai classes with a friend at a local gym. I remember the experience being absolutely gruelling and intimidating but for some reason, I was hooked. I remember going home after my first class and immediately shadowboxing in the hallway in preparation for my next class.

Since then and hundreds of classes later, I’ve had the opportunity to live in various cities, train in different gyms and be exposed to new styles and techniques, each with their own advantages and pitfalls. For me, it’s the endless opportunities for improvement that keep me hooked to this day and as a coach, nothing makes me more excited than being able to help you along in your Muay Thai journey. Ultimately, my focus is in helping you find the right intersection between physical, mental, and emotional areas of development so that you get the most out of the hard work that you are putting in. In particular, I love nerding out over the intricacies of the mental chess match and teaching different ways to use effectively use a jab in Muay Thai.
